Tournament Capacity: 120 teams BP Teams
Categories of Competition:
Open Break ( Maximum of 80 Teams) and High School Break (Maximum of 40 Teams
Definition of Teams:
1. Open Break -- Both Institutional Teams and Open Teams are eligible to break into the Pre-Quarter Finals ( Top 24 Teams after 6 Preliminary Rounds). An Institutional Team refers to 2 debaters competing as a team from the same university. An Open Team comprises two debaters from two different universities or two graduates or one university debater and a graduate.
2. High School Break – Both High School Institutional Teams and Open High School Teams are elgible to break into the Quarter Finals (Top 16 Teams after 6 Preliminary Rounds). A High School Institutional Team refers to 2 debaters competing as a team from the same high school. An Open High School Team comprises two debaters from two different high schools.
3. A Team comprising one university and one high school debater will only be eligible to break into the Open Break.
Registration Fees:
1. 120USD per debater
2. Each Team to pay 60USD as Judge Fee (Compulsory)
3. No Teams will be required to send any Judges as the Adj Core will recruit all the most competent Judges possbile for the event.
4. The Registration Fee includes Lunch, Free Access to all social events, Snacks and Refreshments between Debate Rounds but excludes hotel accommodation, breakfast, local commute and personal incidental expenses.
