Registration Timeline for Teams

 

Phase 1 Registration: 1st August -- 7th August*

Phase 1 Announcement of accepted teams: 9th August

Phase 1 Payment deadline: 20th August**

 

Phase 2 Registration: 21st August -- 3rd September *

Phase 2 Announcement of teams accepted: 4th September

Phase 2 Payment deadline: 10th September**

 

*Teams that are granted slots in the Tournament will be informed by the Convenors by email directly and will also be given instructions for bank transfer of the Registration Fees.

 

**Failure to pay by the deadline will result in the teams losing their spots in the Confirmed List and being demoted to the Waiting List below every other team.

 

 

Slots Allocation Policy

​

1. Each Institution is allowed to register 4 Teams in Phase 1 of the Registration Period.  If, upon the closure of Phase 1, the Tournament has not reached its capacity of 120 teams, we will open registration of Team 4, 5 and 6 from any Institution, after accepting the teams on the Waiting List, during Phase 2 of the Registration of Teams.

 

2. Teams that register in Phase 2 and are the first Institutions (or, for “open teams”, one of the two members) to register from their country/territory, but are not in the first 100 teams to do so, will immediately be allocated a place over other Teams as we would like as many countries/territories to be represented in our event. All Institutions that have successfully registered  in Phase 2 will be notified by the Convener by 3rd September by email.
